• The stark white on these leaves is dependent on light intensity. With ample bright, indirect light, these white areas will continue to stay brilliant. However, with limited light, it will likely produce new leaves with more green in comparison to white.
• It’s normal for some leaf drop or minimal yellowing of older leaves to occur in transit. Plant into preferred spot, water softly and the plant will soon settle in and produce new leaves usually within 1-2 weeks.

A: This is a very common problem with variegated Syngonium plants and the problem usually comes down to a lack of light. The white portions of variegated leaves contain no chlorophyll and the green portions have to take care of all the photosynthesis for the plant. Under less light, the plant tries to do it as best as it can, by making more leaves and less green. Put it somewhere that receives a lot of bright light from the side, but avoid direct sunlight or the plant will scorch the leaves.

A: Watering of your plant does not rely on schedule, but checks. Water it once the top couple of centimeters of the soil dries out. In the summer it would be a couple of days.
