Mammillaria elongata, commonly known as the Ladyfinger Cactus, is a popular succulent native to Mexico. This cactus features elongated, cylindrical stems that can grow up to 6 inches long and are covered in clusters of yellow-brown spines, giving it a distinctive appearance. In spring, it produces small, pink-yellow flowers that add charm to its golden-hued body. Ladyfinger Cactus thrives in well-draining soil and prefers full sun, making it ideal for indoor environments or sunny patios. It requires minimal watering, following a "soak and dry" method, and is a great choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.
