Enjoy Money Plant (Variegated Pothos — Epipremnum aureum 'Enjoy')
Description
The Enjoy Money Plant is a mini, patterned relative of the plant most commonly known as pothos or money plant (Epipremnum aureum). The heart-shaped leaves have a random spray of cream-white across a field of green -- a key differentiator from most homes and offices sporting a solid green pothos. Because the leaves don't grow as large as traditional golden pothos, and it tends to be less wild, it works best in spots like a tabletops, study desks and shelves where you don't want things cascading too far.
Like other pothos plants, the Enjoy Money Plant is selected for its leaves and doesn't need to bloom in order to be enjoyed -- as Pothos usually do not.
Part of the Araceae family,Enjoy Money Plant has the easy-care repotting that first-time plant enthusiasts enjoy. It would overflow out of a hanging pot, spill off from the kitchen table, creep up over a little support if prompted and reside comfortably in your Indian drawing room or balcony in filtered sunlight, or take pride of place on your writing desk or study desk and come along as is the daily norm.
This is one of the plants mentioned as performing favorably in purifying the air, although I find its effect in a room can be overstated and it should not be your primary motivation for purchasing.
I think the main selling point here is the opportunity to buy a trailing houseplant, one who is less apt to overwhelm the space, and will bring a touch of greenery to your life without much fuss."

Important Notes
- As each plant is a unique live thing, shape size and pattern variegation will differ to each plant individually.
- As soon as leaves are delivered they can have some slight leaf droop, possibly slight yellowing, which should settle down within a week of delivery when the plant has acclimatised to its surroundings.
- Avoid direct high afternoon sun, this can burn lighter areas on the plant.
- The amount of variegation depends on light levels - you will find if growing this in lower light levels, the leaves become greener, the amount of white should increase in bright light.
- During winter growth reduces and reduces water accordingly.
- Toxic - mildly If eaten by pets/kids with a tendency to chew, please keep out of the reach.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why are the leaves on my plant yellowing?
A: Over-watering causes yellow leaves. Check the drainage in the pot is good and only water the plant when the top one-and-two-inches of soil is dry. Some leaves on the oldest bottom level may also yellow a little, as part of new growth, that's not a problem at all.
Q: How often do I need to water this plant?
A: There's no such time-bound rule, it all depends upon your household's humidity and temperature. We prefer checking with our finger whether the soil up to 1-2 inches deep is dry. It would be around every 5-7 days for Indian summers and may prolong up to 10-14 days for winters.
Q: Will it survive in a low light room?
A: It can handle a low light situation but will be slow growing and the variegation will fade over time to a predominantly solid green color. It will look and grow at a best pace in a place that gets many hours of light per day, indirect is always best though
Q: Is this a fast growing plant?
A: Growth speed is variable depending on light, temperature and care but variegated pothos typically grow a little bit slower than simple green varieties since light coloured segments don’t have chlorophyll. Slow but steady will be most likely.
Q: When and how often do I need to repot?
A: When plant roots start looping in the bottom half of the pot. Transplant to a larger size (next largest size pot) at 12 to 18-month intervals. In a larger pot with new fresh, well-draining all purpose potting mix, gently add plant and water deeply.
Q: Is this plant safe around animals?
A: No. Just like other pothos types, it contains calcium oxalate crystals and is considered to be mildly poisonous when ingested by small pets such as dogs or cats, and children too. I recommend growing them in a high shelf or hanging location.
