Common Pests

1. Mealybugs: These small, white, cotton-like insects often congregate in leaf axils and stem joints, feeding on plant sap and excreting honeydew, which can lead to sooty mold. Infestations may cause yellowing and wilting of leaves. To treat, apply isopropyl alcohol directly to the insects using a cotton swab or spray. Ensure the plant is kept out of direct sunlight immediately after treatment to prevent leaf burn.
